Corporate Director of Revenue & Distribution

Abe has over 11 years of experience in the scope of revenue management and distribution domestically and internationally. His career in revenue management began in 2006 with Wyndham Exchange and Rentals as an analyst with direct oversight of 300 plus properties spanning across two continents.

 

In 2010, Wyndham Hotel Group pioneered a revenue management division for Franchise Hotels and transitioned Abe to Wyndham Corporate as Revenue Manager for multi-brands, which included Wingate, Hawthorne Suites, Ramada, Super 8 and Microtel.

 

Grand Pacific Reports recruited Abe for his expertise in 2012 as Corporate Director of Revenue and assuming responsibility for 14 resorts top-line performance. In this role, Abe created a revenue department of two (2) additional managers and a call center of 10 general sales agents.

 

Denihan Hospitality was Abe’s ticket to New York City in 2013. At Denihan, Abe directed top-line strategy and revenue optimization for the Affinia Manhattan; Denihan’s biggest NYC asset.

 

Abe’s career progressed and went on to include Millennium Hotels & Resorts as regional director of revenue for Millennium Broadway and UN Plaza Hotel(s).

 

One year later, Abe was recruited by Highgate Hotels as Area Director of Revenue Management and Distribution, responsible for top-line revenues for 5 resorts in the Poconos, PA. During his time there, Abe worked closely with the marketing team implementing a new website for the properties as well as creating packages for the indoor waterpark to help drive direct bookings.

 

Most recently, Abe was an executive committee and pre-opening team member for the launch of Williamsburg first 5-Star independent hotel, The William Vale. Working to establish the property’s comprehensive revenue culture, distribution and RMS systems, web commerce, and was the main architect for all 3rd party on-line travel agency (OTA) contracts and relationships. Abe has brought all this experience to GAM Hospitality management and advisory services beginning in 2017.

 

Abe possesses highly technical and complex skills of today’s revenue, sales and marketing needs, but also the ability to translate the detail into a logical, plausible language, in a very measured and leveled way to ownership.
